Edward E. Reid

Edward (Ed)] Reid has over 30 years of extensive experience in The Banking and Financial Services Industry. He has served in positions from Operations Officer to Senior Vice President, and Senior Trust Officer. During his career he has participated in nine mergers and or buyouts. In each case he was in charge of the day to day management of organizational change, and staff training. Ed used the concept of process consultation and management in each case. He helped with developmental measurement tools to help evaluate the effectiveness of various jobs functions and also developed marketing programs for different departments as well as cross sale training for various positions. Ed also has served as facilitator for strategic planning sessions both for the Financial Service Industry as well as for various Non Profit Organizations.

Ed has served as a Board Member and held various officer positions for a number of Non Profit organizations including C.A.S.A. [Court Appointed Special Advocates, formerly known as FOCAS [Foster Child Advocate Services], The Boy Scouts of America, The United Way, and Partners in Education. Ed served three years as President of Child Advocates of Wichita Falls, TX which is the CASA agency program there. During Ed’s presidency the number of volunteers rose from 25 to 130, and the increase in the annual budget from $60,000 to $376,000, the staff from ½ to 3 ½ with the number of cases assigned from 1 to 3 to all child abuse cases being assigned an advocate. While in this position he supervised the application process for VOCA Grants, each of the 3 years he was president. In addition to receiving VOCA grants other Foundation Grants were applied for and received.

During Ed’s work with the Financial Services and Non-Profit arena he has also conducted numerous seminars for the legal and accounting community on various topics from managing change to the value of Trusts for specific needs. A majority of these seminars qualified for continuing education credits for the legal and accounting participants. Ed has also been a guest lecturer at various colleges in Texas and Oklahoma.
